Alex Grey’s painting ‘Cosmic Elf’ which appears as the cover art on the new String Cheese disc, Untying The Not is available for sale. The work which is priced at $25,000 is 30’ by 30’ and comes framed (bonus, dude). Grey, a multimedia artist who has performed throughout the globe, may be best known for his 21 life-sized paintings, the ‘Sacred Mirrors.’ A limited edition 16’ x 20’ print of ‘Cosmic Elf,’ is also available for $150 at the Alex Grey web site (and a 14 × 13 1/2 version will run you $13 with a bonus OTR disc in the String Cheese store).
