Galactic welcomed special guests to the stage last night at 4th & B in San Diego. During the encore, alto saxophonist Cochemea Cheme Gastelum (Robert Walters 20th Congress), guitarist Brian Jordan (Karl Densons Tiny Universe) and drummer John Staten (KDTU) joined the band for an extended open jam. Galactic is currently touring behind its new album, Ruckus, which is available now.
The band will make an in-store appearance at 4 p.m. this afternoon at Tower Records in Los Angeles, and then play a nighttime show at L.A.s House of Blues. For the full schedule, visit www.galacticfunk.com.
