Project/Object will hit the road this fall with three Frank Zappa alumni: vocalists Ike Willis and Napoleon Murphy Brock along with 71-year old keyboardist Don Preston. The tour kicks off October 10 at the Conduit in Trenton, NJ and includes stops in Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, California, Missouri, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. The band will be performing music off of classic albums such as Roxy and Elsewhere, Joe’s Garage, Sheik Yerbouti, One Size Fits All and We’re Only in it for the Money.
The band represents three generations of Zappa alumni, spanning 22 years. Preston began performing with Frank in 1966, and Willis was on his final tour in 1988.
