Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady will tour as the Original Acoustic Hot Tuna this fall. The tour kicks off October 25 at the Fur Peace Station in Pomeroy, OH. For Halloween, Jorma and Jack will appear at the Portland Center for the Arts in Oregon, along with Yonder Mountain String Band, which will also join them the following evening at the Moore Theater in Seattle. After a couple weeks off, the tour hits the East Coast, making stops in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The jaunt wraps in mid-December with gigs at Martyrs in Chicago on the 10th and 11th and the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis on the 12th and 13th. The majority of the tour will include mandolin player Barry Mitterhoff who has collaborated with countless musicians such as Peter Rowan, Tom Chapin and Darol Anger. He also appears on the soundtrack to the 1998 film Youve Got Mail.
