Widespread Panic welcomed some of the genres most talented drummers to the stage this past weekend at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Last night, John Molo (Phil & Friends) and Matt Abts (Govt Mule) along with Cecil Daniels and Tom Fillman all added percussion to the drums segment, which was sandwiched in between Fishwater in the second set. Saturday at the same venue, Stanton Moore (Galactic) and Daniels joined in for an extended drum solo during Surprise Valley. Steve Lopez also played percussion in North.
Widespread will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tomorrow at 11:35 EST on NBC. For the bands full schedule, visit www.widespreadpanic.com.
