The Mimi Fishman Foundation has added a pair of passes for Yonder Mountain String Bands Northwest String Summit to the current online auction. The winner will also receive an autographed poster from last years Summit. The 2nd annual event will be held June 27 29 at Hornings Hideout in North Plains, OR and features Old & In The Gray (David Grisman, Peter Rowan, Vassar Clements, Herb Pedersen, Bryn Bright), Keller Williams, Reeltime Travelers and the Larry Keel Experience, among others. The charity auction also includes passes to the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival as well as tickets to see Phish or String Cheese Incident.
All proceeds benefit the various non-profit organizations supported by the Mimi Fishman Foundation. Two of the primary charities, Healing the Children and the Delta Gamma Center, have just received grants from the Foundation. Healing the Children was given $2,000 and a grant of $3,000 was given to the Delta Gamma Center.
