The Zen Tricksters Acoustic Trio will perform at Tuesday nights benefit screening party for the film Commune! which will take place at 308 Bowery in New York City. The documentary was directed by Jonathan Berman and explores experiments in living, as seen through an isolated California commune over the last thirty years. The film is still a work in progress and is just entering the editing phase. The benefit will raise funds for the editing process. It is a not-for-profit 501C3 project of the NY Foundation for the Arts. The Zen Tricksters Acoustic Trio features guitarists Jeff Mattson and Tom Circosta as well as bassist Klyph Black. Special guest trumpter Frank London of the Klezmatics will also peform.
