Colorado-based Jive has canceled 13 upcoming shows including five New Orleans dates during Jazz Fest. It’s been said millions of times before, and we hate to add to the clichbut the realities of being in a touring band are not pretty, the group said in a statement. That being said, it is with tremendous sadness that we must announce that Jive will be canceling their West Coast tour and all Jazz Fest Dates. The financial realities of the band and recent unforeseen events have left us with no choice on this matter The band will be going forward with all other scheduled Colorado appearances.
Jives next show is April 27 at Western State College in Gunnison, CO. For more information, visit www.boulderjive.com.
