A benefit concert will be held for Mofro on February 5 at the Elbow Room in San Francisco, CA. Members of Mofro were involved in a car accident in October and were left with approximately $100,000 worth of medical bills because the driver who struck them had no insurance. The benefit concert will feature Robert Walter and members of the 20th Congress, members of Mofro, Melvin Seals, Dave Ellis, Will Bernard and Etienne deRocher. An online charity has also been launched and includes signed items from Robert Walter, Les Claypool, Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, String Cheese Incident and Mofro.
All proceeds will be help pay for Mofros medical expenses. For more information, visit www.fogworld.com/mofro/benefit.
