The Schenectady Symphony Orchestra will perform with students from the Shenendehowa High School Orchestra in Shenendehowa, NY this Saturday at 7 p.m. The concert is the result of a three-month music education program funded by a grant of $5000 from the Mockingbird Foundation. Funds were raised from the sale of The Phish Companion, a book dedicated to the music of Phish, and Sharing In The Groove, a double-CD comprised of well-known artists covering Phish songs. All net proceeds from both projects benefit music education for children.
