Members of Govt Mule have just arrived in Denver, CO after scrambling to find alternate modes of transportation when their flights were canceled. Our trek began Wednesday in Manhattan and Warren [Haynes] and I were lucky enough to find a tour bus in Virginia that was available, says tour manager Matt Busch. We literally had to beg a cab driver to drive us to Brooklyn, where friends of ours met us and drove us to Allentown, Pennsylvania where we met the bus. We then stopped in Virginia to pick up David Grohls mom, because Dave wanted to get her out of Washington. We just got off the bus in Denver about ten minutes ago. Matt Abts is currently on a tour bus from L.A. and is due in in about a half hour. Chuck Leavells flight actually just left from Atlanta. David Schools arrived by bus as well.
Govt Mule will take the stage at the Fillmore in Denver, CO tonight. For the complete itinerary, visit www.mule.net.
