Surprise Me Mr. Davis played two New York shows over the weekend. On Friday the group headlined Brooklyn, NY’s Union Hall, and on Saturday the band returned to New York’s Mercury Lounge. These shows featured the band’s current incarnation: singer/songwriter Nathan Moore, keyboardist Marco Benevento and The Slip. Benevento’s Duo partner Joe Russo and Apollo Sunshine drummer Jeremy Black both also sat in with the band on “Skull & Bones” Saturday night. The group will perform at New Orleans, LA’s Tipitina’s French Quarter this Saturday.
