Bob Weir and Furthur singer Jeff Pehrson will sing the National Anthem at the San Francisco Bulls home opener game on October 12 at the Cow Palace in Daly City, CA . Bob Weir played at the Cow Palace with The Grateful Dead twice in the 1970’s. The Dead played the arena on March 24, 1974 and the show has since been released as Dick’s Picks Vol. 24. The Dead also played a New Years Eve show at Cow Palace on December 31, 1976 with Santana. That show was released as Live at the Cow Palace in 2007. The San Francisco Bulls are a minor league hockey team in the ECHL affiliated with the San Jose Sharks. This will be the Bulls’ first season as a team.
