English singer, songwriter, musician, rapper and record producer. King Krule, also known as Archy Ivan Marshall–among other names–announced a new album titled Space Heavy is set to release on June 9 via Matador.

In celebration of the announcement of the follow-up to 2020’s Man Alive! King Krule also shared a single off the project called “Seaforth” with an accompanying music video directed by Jocelyn Anquetil featuring cute puppy dogs.

King Krule wrote Space Heavy in the time between 2020 and 2022 while living in London and Liverpool. The record is inspired by the concept of “the space between,” which many felt during that tumultuous period. Notably, the offering was recorded in collaboration with producer Dilip Harris, saxophonist Ignacio Salvadores, drummer George Bass, bassist James Wilson, and guitarist Jack Towell.
