New York indie staple The Strokes were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this week.
The band performed two tracks – “The Adults Are Talking” and “Bad Decisions” – off their April 2020 release The New Abnormal.
Led, as always, by the charisma of frontman Julian Casablancas, The Strokes have performed four times on SNL, the same number as that evening’s host John Mulaney.
“At 1 AM when the night couldn’t get more perfect Julian gave me the trench coat he wore onstage. And I pretended not to cry,” Mulaney wrote after the show, via Twitter.
