Today, Sept. 22, is National Voter Registration Day. To coincide with the day of voter awareness, My Morning Jacket has announced a new 7” vinyl titled Bring The Power Back Home. The vinyl features the single “Bring The Power Back Home,” along with an acoustic version on the B-side.

The run of vinyl is limited to 2,020 copies, and it is available to pre-order on the band’s webstore. It is priced at “Pay What You Can,” ranging from $10 to $25. According to a press release, “all proceeds from this release will benefit Fair Fight, the voter participation advocacy group founded by Stacey Abrams.”

“’Bring The Power Back Home’ is about taking control of your own destiny,” said My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James (via press release), “reclaiming one’s personal power in an effort to bring positive change back to our lives, even if it seems that the good in the world is slipping out of our grasp. Positive change and progress is still possible. One of the best ways we can reclaim and use our power for good right now is to VOTE like our lives depend on it, because they do.”
