On Sunday evening, Widespread Panic returned to the Capitol Theatre stage in Port Chester, NY, for the third and final night of their weekend run at the venue, marking their first shows at The Cap since they opened for The Radiators in 1992.
After offering a special nod to National Puppy Day on Saturday night with an encore rendition of “Puppy Sleeps,” Panic closed out the three-night run with an extended encore last night that amounted to the better part of a third set after an already packed performance.
Following two sets that included a cover of Talking Heads’ “Life During Wartime” to close out the first frame and the Panic favorite “Ain’t Life Grand” to close the second, the band returned to the stage to open the encore with “This Part of Town” before launching into a cover of Traffic’s classic “Low Spark of High Heeled Boys,” which included an interpolation of “Disco” and led into the night’s closer, “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature.”
See the full setlist below, along with pro-shot video of the beginning of each of the two main sets via the night’s livestream on The Relix Channel. Next up for Widespread Panic is a three-night run in Durham, NC, starting this Friday, March 29.

Other One Shmother One
March 25, 2019 at 3:56 pmThe Other One Jam would indeed be a highlight if Schools didn’t do it EVERY THIRD SHOW! Hahaha!
Still always fun. I just wish they would actually do it in it’s entirety for once.
Last full Other One was over 30 years ago. Isn’t it about time to dust off “that” puppy?
