Deep Banana Blackout percussionist Johnny Durkin and Robert Walters 20th Congress saxophonist Cochemea Gastelum performed with The Motet Saturday at Tobacco Road in New York City. Durkin and Gastelum emerged at the beginning of the second set for Jan Jan, Ven a La Luz and Chop & Quench. Durkin later returned for the last song of the show, Belly.
Deep Banana Blackout saxophonist/vocalist Hope Clayburn is currently performing with The Motet while DBB has a break from touring.
