Were back with our second bit of Jammys news for the day. Two additional performers have been confirmed, as both Patti Smith and Nellie McKay have been added to the bill. A true pioneer, Smith’s mixture of poetry and art-rock has earned her a place as on the punk scene’s seminal artists (and as anyone who has seen her in the past few years can attest, she remains a vital artist). Nellie McKay has spent the past two years touring the world and also traveling the festival circuit, including crackling appearances at last year’s Bonnaroo and moe.down festival. Limited tickets for this years Jammys are still available on-line and without a service charge at the Madison Square Garden Box Office.
