The line-up for the 2007 Gathering of the Vibes just an expanded a bit, while offering a nod to the past. Back in 2000, Les Claypool and RatDog performed back-to-back sets, with Claypool joining RatDog for a jam that melded the two performances. The same may well happen again this year, on the very same site as the Gathering is back at Seaside Park where the festival took place in 2000. The Wailers, Martin Sexton, John Brown’s Body and U-Melt are the other additions to a roster that already includes Bob Weir and RatDog, Buddy Guy, Mickey Hart Band, George Clinton & P-Funk, Keller and the Keels, Dickey Betts & Great Southern, Los Lobos, Deep Banana Blackout, Assembly of Dust, Donna Jean & the Tricksters, Railroad Earth, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Zero, Strangefolk and Ryan Montbleau Band. The Gathering of the Vibes will take place on August 9-12.
