The documentary film Wetlands Preserved: The Story of an Activist Rock Club will make its prime time return to the Sundance Channel later this week. The film will run at 10 p.m. on Friday October 3, with two additional airings to follow, on Tuesday, October 7 at 7:15 a.m. and Monday October 13 at 3:45 p.m. Wetlands Preserved, directed by site editor Dean Budnick, incorporates archival footage, soundboard recordings and the efforts of a dozen digital animators to chronicle the story of New York City nightclub Wetlands Preserve from February 1989 through September 2001. The documentary features music from Phish, Blues Traveler, moe., The Disco Biscuits, Dave Matthews Band, Sublime, Ben Harper, Spearhead, 311, Ani DiFranco, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Spin Doctors, Fishbone, Agnostic Front and many additional artists.
