Eight-year-old Japanese guitar hero Yuto Miyazawa visited New York in May and found himself onstage with the likes of Les Paul, Galactic and Moonalice. Miyazawa returned to New York earlier this week to tape his first appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and ran through Eric Claptons signature take on Crossroads while backed by none other than The Max Weinberg 7. Giving Warren Haynes a run for his money, Miyazawa then played an early evening gig at New Yorks Rebel, before staying out past his bedtime to sit in with Chris Barron & The Time Bandits for another version of Crossroads at the Bitter End. A YouTube clip of the guitar prodigys Late Night spot is available here.
