Umphreys McGee wrapped up a brief run of shows with Matisyahu this past Friday at Kansas City, MOs Crossroads. During Matisyahus set, Umphreys McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins emerged to play on ‘Mist Rising/Ancient Lullaby.’ From there, Umphreys McGee traveled to East Troy, WI to open two Dave Matthews Band shows at Alpine Valley. Partway through the groups Sunday night performance, DMB saxophonist Jeff Coffin took the stage to play on Made to Measure. Coffin, a longtime friend of the Umphreys family, appears on the studio version of the new Mantis track. Umphreys McGee will perform at Detroit Lakes, MNs 10,000 Lakes Festival this weekend.
