For tonight’s (May 20) edition of Weir Wednesdays, Bob Weir will present a rebroadcast of ‘The Bridge Session’, performed and filmed live on Mar. 24, 2012. The session was filmed at Weir’s TRI Studios in San Rafael, Calif.
The performance featured members of The National Aaron Dessner, Bryan Devendorf and Scott Devendorf, as well as Bonny Light Horseman’s Josh Kaufman, Walter Martin, Conrad Doucette, Thomas Bartlett and Kyle Resnick. The group exploredd songs of both the Grateful Dead and The National.
The film, produced by Headcount, was directed by Justin Kreutzmann.

May 20, 2020 at 3:35 pmBob should rebroadcast ALL his 2012 TRI efforts before he quickly grew bored or stopped spending money on it. Such tremendous efforts and promises were made of the place them seemingly abandoned. Furthur, Jerry Tribute, talk show, Steve Parish, etc. Just too f’ing bad…
