God Street Wine has issued an invitation to a limited number of fans to join them in the studio for a one-time-only recording of 10 new tracks. The event will take place on Sunday, March 8, at Utopia Studios in Woodstock, N.Y., and hover on content created using the method project.

In a post shared on the band’s official Instagram page, they provided context on their choice method, writing: “By now, some of you have seen the posts and videos about the Method project. We’ve used this collective, step-by-step songwriting process over the past year to write ten new songs.

Along the way, we made demos as part of the process. Each step was recorded individually and passed on to the next band member until the song was completed, but our goal has always been to join together in the same studio to properly record them.”

During the final day of God Street Wine’s allotted time at Utopia Studios, they are offering 50 fans the chance to join them in the studio. The post continues, “You’ll be there as we perform all ten Method songs and we’ll encourage you to sing and clap along as we record. So you’ll actually BE ON THE ALBUM!” Those in attendance will also receive a commemorative Lyrics Booklet and other souvenirs to mark the occasion.

As a note to interested participants, God Street Wine adds, “There are a couple of protocols to abide by – you can’t dance, unfortunately, you’ll have to be quiet when we ask, and be mindful of the studio gear in the room. No phones, cameras, or recording will be permitted during the session – but there will be a chance to snap some pics at the very end.”

Tickets are sold out.
