Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have confirmed the details for their annual tribute to The Band’s Rick Danko. This year’s celebration will take place at Woodstock, NY’s The Colony on December 27, two days before what would have been Danko’s 82nd birthday. The Woodstock Horns will augment Professor Louie & The Crowmatix throughout the show.

Looking ahead, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have a busy few months of shows on the books. This Saturday the former Band collaborator and his ensemble will appear at Boston’s The Beehive and on December 7 they will perform the music of The Band at New York’s famed Cafe Wha? They will also mark the season with a festive show at Piermont, NY’s The Turning Point on December 19, where they will perform music from the Holiday Time Album and ring in 2026 with both 8 and 9pm concerts at Saranac Lake, NY’s Town Hall on December 31 with The Woodstock Horns.
