On Wednesday, Paul McCartney took to social media, where he teased his North American comeback. The spark of possibility caused a fan frenzy and enticed folks with the prospect of catching the great in song and story. The bassist and original member of The Beatles confirmed a series of concerts, beginning on September 29 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif.
On the heels of his first night on the road, McCartney and his longtime band, Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums), will arrive at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on October 4. The ensemble, which will also feature the Hot City Horns, Mike Davis (trumpet), Kenji Fenton (saxes), and Paul Burton (trombone), will take their talents to Albuquerque, N.M., on October 7, followed by a performance in Denver on October 11.
McCartney and his instrumental support system will embark on concert appearances in Des Moines, Iowa (October 14), Minneapolis (October 17), and Tulsa (October 22), before returning to their New Orleans fanbase on October 29 at the Smoothie King Center. Next on the docket, McCartney has signed on for two nights in Atlanta (November 2-3), ahead of his November 6 concert at Nashville, Tenn.’s The Pinnacle.
Heading East, the prolific songwriter and music icon will play in Columbus (November 8), followed by an evening in Pittsburgh (November 11). Before participating in Canadian appearances, the group will play at Buffalo, N.Y.’s KeyBank Center. They’ll proceed with a pair of back-to-back concerts at the Bell Centre in Montreal (November 17-18), and one final Great White North gig, at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, on November 21.
McCartney will return to the US for a final pair of dates, this time a two-night run at Chicago’s United Center on November 24 and 25. The artist launched his initial Got Back Tour in 2022, delivering 16 sold-out concerts in the US. The following year, he took the live experience to Australia, Mexico, and Brazil, and spent parts of 2024 in South America, Mexico, and select locations in the UK and Europe.
