SiriusXM’s Grateful Dead station (channel 23) is presenting fans with a special offer that guarantees the music never stops. From April 1 through 30, listeners can tune into the Dead station for free; no purchase is necessary to access content, including complete live performances, specialty DJ sets, conversations with band experts, and more. 

During the month of April, interested parties can access exclusive content, such as the new John Mayer Guest DJ special–to mark Dead & Company’s return to Las Vegas’ Sphere. Live music enthusiasts can listen to select performances that span the group’s 30-year tenure as agents of jam, including fan-voted favorites. 

As an added look at the entertainment to come, the Dead channel has outlined pieces of its broadcast schedule, including Mayer’s guest DJ sets, which will occur from April 7 to 13. See the full schedule below. Also adding his favorites to the mix is actor and known Deadhead Luke Wilson, who will spin his favorite Dead recordings on select days, now through April 6. 

An encore of Unbroken Chain: A Celebration of The Life and Music of Phil Lesh featuring Grahame Lesh & Friends, recorded in honor of the bassist’s 85th birthday at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., will play on Thursday, April 3 at 8 a.m. E.T., and Saturday, April 5 at 8 a.m. E.T. 

Furthermore, to mark the Grateful Dead’s Record Store Day special–6/14/76 Beacon Theatre Vinyl–David Lemieux will discuss highlights from the forthcoming release on select days. See the calendar here.
