The Leevees have confirmed their annual Hanukah shows. The project, which is fronted by Guster’s Adam Gardner and The Zambonis’ Dave Schneider, formed in 2005 and released an album of original music that celebrates the Festival of Lights. This year The Leevees will perform at Fairfield, CT’s The Warehouse on December 12, Gloucester, MA’s The Cut on December 13 and La Jolla, CA’s The JCC on December 15. Gardner and Schneider will also sit for an interview and play five songs during a PBS special set to air on December 24, the night before Hanukah begins (which also happens to be Christmas Eve).
In other news, Guster have announced the details for their Holiday Hits & Bits variety shows. Set for December 11 at New York’s The Sultan Room, the follow-up event to this summer’s Hits & Bits night in California will feature a mix of musicians and comedians, as well as the members of Guster themselves. Other performers include: Tom Papa, Connor Ratliff, Adam Pally, Tina Friml, Cast of Off-Broadway’s Safety Not Guaranteed, Greg Hess and Holly Laurent. For those unable to make it, the show will be livestreamed
