Dopapod have announced that they will go on indefinite hiatus. A message from the band–which features Eli Winderman (keys, vocals), Rob Compa (guitar, vocals), Chuck Jones (bass) and Neal “Fro” Evans (drums)–states that “Starting in 2025, Dopapod will no longer be touring, recording or writing for the foreseeable future.” The quartet previously look a break in 2017, inspired by an article where a company took a break every seven years. However, prior to that hiatus, the band confirmed that they would return after a year off.

The original version of Dopapod formed at Boston’s Berklee College of Music in 2008. Their current tour itinerary stretches into November, though the group has stated that they plan to add additional shows to their docket.
