The Disco Biscuits will make their way to Worcester, MA in late October for two shows at The Palladium. The group will appear at the venue on October 30 and 31, with the Halloween gig offering a Movie Night.
The band will deliver an improvisational score to a film that is selected by the band’s fans. The group has done this on multiple occasions in the past. On December 31, 1999, they performed to Akira. In 2001 during four consecutive shows that began on Halloween they presented soundtracks to Alice In Wonderland, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Koyaanisqatsi and Run Lola Run. More recently on October 31, 2004 at the Caverns, it was 2001: A Space Odyssey.
This band has just opened this year’s selection to a fan vote, with the choices running the gamut from the 1922 silent classic Nosferatu to the 1998 Disney Channel family offering Halloweentown (alas, Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge is not an option).
