Today, May 22, Mempho Music Festival has revealed the artist lineup for the seventh annual event, set to take place between Oct. 4 and Oct. 6 in the festival’s namesake city of Memphis, Tenn. The heavyweight ticket features Trey Anastasio & Classic TAB as the three-day weekend’s headlining act, alongside titans of hard rock Queens of the Stone Age and Texas-bred country crooner Cody Jinks. Also set to perform at Radians Amphitheater are esteemed acts like the Warren Haynes Band, indie-groove band Goose and regal blues guitarist Marcus King.
Other notable performances across the festival’s three stages include ska-rock ensemble Sublime with Rome, jam scene favorite Karina Rykman, pioneering hip-hop outfit The Roots and guitar virtuoso Cory Wong. In addition to this stacked bill of musical performers, fans can also enjoy a silent disco, pyrotechnics and an array of gourmet food and beverage vendors, to be announced as the festival approaches.
The return of Mempho Music Festival follows Mempho Presents’ month-long residency at Tom Lee Park in downtown Memphis, Tenn. for RiverBeat Music Festival and SmokeSlam BBQ Festival earlier this year. “Mempho Presents has always been about celebrating the soul of Memphis, and Mempho Fest embodies that spirit,” shares Jeff Bransford, Producer at Mempho Presents. “We look forward to keeping the good times rolling and reuniting with thousands of our friends at Radians Amphitheater at Memphis Botanic Garden this October,” Bransford added.
