On Saturday, March 23, The Terrapin Family Band will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s infamous performance at Cow Palace in Daly City, Calif. The springtime concert is scheduled to take place at the JaM Cellars Ballroom in Napa, Calif.

The anniversary concert will feature members of The Terrapin Family Band, such as the son of original Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, Grahame Lesh, in addition to Bay Area performers  Jason Crosby, Ross James, and Alex Koford, alongside added talents Nicki Bluhm and Scott Law.

The Terrapin Family Band’s impending event celebrates the Grateful Dead’s March 23, 1974 show, just south of their San Francisco hometown. During the legendary show, the band delivered first-time live performances of what would become fan favorites, “Scarlet Begonias” and “Cassidy.” It also featured the first use of the iconic Wall of Sound.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Scroll down to see the band’s post via Instagram.
