Celebrated musician and multi-Grammy Award winner Eric Krasno has announced the debut single, “Unconditional Love,” from his impending full-length acoustic album Wood and Strings. The LP is expected to be released next summer, with the renowned electric guitarist presenting a stripped-down version of his signature sound.

“‘Unconditional Love’ is the 1st single from my new acoustic project called Wood and Strings,” offered Krasno via press release. “The album will feature a mix of original compositions and some of my favorite covers. The project will also showcase some of the songs I’ve written for other artists over the years.”

He continued, “I loved the idea of creating stripped-down versions of these songs featuring all acoustic instruments. I simplified the arrangements and played all the instruments and percussion (I had a little help with some background vocals). I’m excited to continue to release tracks from this project throughout 2024.”

To celebrate the new song and first glimpse at the impending collection of music, Krasno also shared that on Dec. 8, he will host a release party and charity drive for the houseless nonprofit, City Pak. The event is scheduled to take place at The Mint in Los Angeles and will be proceeded by an East Coast tour, commencing at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Dec. 15.
