Today, Karina Rykman released a thought-provoking music video in which she grapples with the daunting task of achieving one’s aspirations, set against the backdrop of her dreamy indie pop track, “All That You Wanted,” off her recently released debut album, Joyride.

The video places Rykman in the spotlight, embodying two distinct personas. One portrays the frantic life of a musician racing against time to reach a crucial performance, while the other encapsulates the emotionally restrained existence of an office worker. As the song progresses, these seemingly contrasting identities converge, culminating in a blissful performance that seamlessly melds her artistic and professional facets into a harmonious whole.

Since its release, Joyride has climbed to No. 10 on the Billboard Alternative New Artist Albums Chart. The artist is currently on tour to promote the album and is set to appear at several festivals, including Harvest Music Festival, Borderland Music Festival and more.

Following the festival appearances, Rykman will embark on the highly anticipated Joyride Tour 2023, set to kick off with a sold-out show at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Baby’s All Right, on Sept. 20.

Additionally, Rykman also had an incredible weekend performing at ALL IN fest with none other than Jack Black. Check out a photo following the fun below.
