Shovels & Rope have joined the lineup for Little Feat’s upcoming stops in Charleston, SC. The group, who hail from nearby Johns Island, SC, will support Little Feat at the Charleston Music Hall on September 14 and 15. A note from Little Feat reads, “Little Feat are excited to announce that Shovels and Rope will be sitting in with us during the Charleston, SC shows on September 14 and 15.”
Little Feat are currently moving through the country on their Last Farewell Tour, an extended goodbye run that will close the touring era of their storied career. The band is also the subject of a new film, directed by Jesse Lauter, Little Feat: The Documentary.
The veteran ensemble will kick off the next leg of their run at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on September 10. Maggie Rose will supply opening duties. On deck for Shovels & Rope, the duo will appear at Greenville, SC’s Hampton Station on Saturday, August 29 as part of the A Toast to the Upstate music and culinary event. Darby Wilcox and special guest Carrie Manolako will round out the evening, which is hosted by Keipi Restaurant.
