Bob Dylan has announced that a live album of his performances in Tokyo, Japan, in 1978 will be available Nov. 17. The Complete Budokan 1978, named after the venue, Nippon Budokan, includes two full performances from Dylan’s world tour in which he played a total of eight shows. The album will be released through Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings.

Previously, the two performances, recorded on Feb. 28 and March 1, were released on Bob Dylan at Budokan, another live album that partially captured the two evenings. The new album will contain remastered versions of all the songs and many that were left out of the initial release. In total, it will have 58 tracks, with 36 of them being previously unreleased.

The 1978 band Dylan was touring with included guitarists Billy Cross and Steven Soles, drummer Ian Wallace, keyboardist Alan Pasqua, bassist Rob Stoner, multi-instrumentalist David Mansfield, saxophonist Steve Douglas, percussionist Bobbye Hall and vocalists Helena Springs, Jo Ann Harris and Debi Dye.

The new live album has been remixed and remastered with help from chief engineer Tom Suzuki, who said that “(the engineering team) mixed the record with the keyword ‘passion’ in mind. The result is a mix that surpasses the original 1978 release, providing a crisper and clearer sound where each instrument and Bob Dylan’s voice are distinctly audible.”

Notably, when it was released, Bob Dylan at Budokan did well commercially, reaching No. 13 on Billboard’s Top 200. It was also released only months after Bob Dylan’s 1978 album Street-Legal
