Nashville, Tenn.’s much-anticipated Touch of Brews Festival is returning to the heart of the city’s 12 South district’s Sevier Park on Sept. 29 and 30. The annual festival, now in its third year, is a unique celebration that fuses exceptional live music and goodwill with craft beers by Terrapin Beer Company.

Organized by Rhizome Productions, the event brings together an impressive lineup of local and national musical acts in the spirit of the Grateful Dead, offering heady jams and positive vibes to festival-goers. The festivities will kick off on Friday (Sept. 29), from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a special evening featuring San Francisco’s Midnight North and Deadbeats Tie Dye Jam. Saturday offers a full day of family-friendly fun from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Over the two days, Touch of Brews Festival will host a stellar lineup of musicians, including Jeff Mattson, Grahame Lesh, Elliott Peck, Mike Miz, Lady Couch, The Stolen Faces, and Midnight Riders. However, Touch of Brews is more than just a musical experience; it’s a celebration of craftsmanship and creativity that extends from the stage to the pint glass.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tantalize their taste buds with a variety of food and beverage options while exploring Shakedown Street, where dozens of vendors will offer artisanal creations for purchase.

Another standout feature of the festival is its commitment to community support. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a Nashville-based nonprofit organization, with Touch of Brews proudly selecting the Nashville Parks Foundation (501c3) as the beneficiary.

Rhizome Productions emphasized the inclusive spirit of the Grateful Dead, encouraging attendees to bring their dogs and kids to the festival. “The beauty of that Grateful Dead spirit is that it’s steeped in love and inclusion and integral to our event,” they said. Rhizome Productions. “So, yes, bring the dogs! Bring the kids!” Pancho and Lefty’s Cantina will host a large Kids Zone run by local educators, offering activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, and sensory play stations.
