Steve Earle has officially announced the 2024 return of his John Henry’s Friends Benefit Concert, to be staged in partnership with City Winery at New York’s Town Hall on Nov. 4. For the landmark 10th annual presentation of his believed charitable endeavor, the country-rock icon has collected a top-tier supporting lineup, including the legendary singer-songwriter Jackson Browne. All proceeds from the benefit will go to support the Keswell School, a holistic educational program for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

In a release on the event’s return, Earle offered, “Jackson Browne suited and showed up for our very first John Henry’s Friends concert. We are thrilled to announce that, in celebration of our 10th anniversary, Jackson will return as our special guest.”

Beyond Earle and Brown, the 10th annual John Henry’s Friends concert will feature performances from vaunted solo singer-songwriter Margaret Glaspy and the storied Americana duo of Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, who issued their stirring fourth studio album All This Time in April. The concert will follow a guitar pull format, as all the top-tier instrumentalists cycle on the instrument for an intimate, intentional program. Past John Henry’s Friends performers include Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, David Byrne, Rosanne Cash, Graham Nash, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris and more.

General admission tickets for the 10th annual John Henry’s Friends concert will go on sale on Monday, Sept. 23 via Town Hall. VIP Packages, including various exclusive opportunities to engage with Earle, are available now via City Winery.
