Indie singer-songwriter and harpist Mikaela Davis is gearing up for a whirlwind tour this August, expanding her already packed 2023 schedule. The talented artist will grace stages across the West Coast, Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast, captivating audiences with her enchanting melodies and captivating performances. Adding to the excitement, Davis is set to release her highly-anticipated LP, titled And Southern Star, on Aug. 4 via the renowned label Kill Rock Stars, coinciding with the start of her tour.

Kicking off her musical journey later today, June 2, Davis will join forces with a stellar lineup, including Jackie Greene, Steve Kimock, Peter Rowan, Marc Brownstein, Kanika Moore, Matt Butler, Aron Magner and more at Unlimited Devotion at Ardmore Music Hall, in Ardmore, Pa. Building on that momentum, Davis and her band will embark on a series of shows later this month, starting on June 10, supported by an exceptional roster of guests, including Blue Ranger, Louisa Stancioff, Dominic Lavoie, and Raina Mullen from Ghost Light. Additionally, she will make an appearance at Marco Benevento’s Follow The Arrow festival.

Continuing her musical odyssey, Davis will then grace the stages of Oregon’s Pickathon on Aug. 3 and 4, where she will unveil her upcoming and anticipated LP. Fans can look forward to hearing her recently released singles, “Promise,” which was premiered by Relix and “Far From You.” From there, Davis will continue to traverse the West Coast, with a stop in Seattle on Aug. 5, followed by captivating performances in Redding and Fresno, Calif., on Aug. 8 and 9, respectively. The tour will then take her to Arizona and New Mexico before she embarks on a Midwest adventure with shows in Evanston, Ill., on Aug. 20 and Cleveland, Ohio, on Aug. 22. The journey will continue with a series of performances in Buffalo, Kingston, and Ithaca, N.Y., on Aug. 23, 24 and 25, respectively.

But the excitement won’t stop there. Davis will break in the fall with a special appearance at Camp Deep End in Navarro, Calif., on Sept. 16th, before joining the beloved indie band The Mountain Goats on their West Coast tour as a supporting act.
