Blues Traveler has announced they’ll set out on a 2023 tour in conjunction with the upcoming release of the highly anticipated album, Live and Acoustic Fall of 1997

The tour will kick off on April 25 at the Fox Theatre in Hutchinson, Kan., and conclude on May 24 at the Flying Monkey in Plymouth, N.H. During their travels, the band will play at beautiful theaters like the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, N.Y. and more.

This announcement follows the success of the band’s 35th-anniversary tour. Fans can anticipate performances of the hits from the 14-album collection that defined Blues Traveler as six-time Platinum rockers.

The exclusive double LP will feature performances of the only Blues Traveler live acoustic sets. Blues Traveler intertwined acoustic performances between electric sets during their fall 1997 tour, which was inspired by the band’s successful acoustic performance at Neil Young’s Bridge School benefit

“This EXCLUSIVE limited-edition double LP is a selection of many of the highlights from our legendary 1997 fall tour that produced the only acoustic sets that the original line up of Blues Traveler, including our beloved friend and bassist, Bobby Sheehan ever played on tour,” said Blues Traveler guitarist Chan Kinchla in a press release. “These previously unheard and uncirculated tracks are remastered from the original 2-track soundboard recordings for the ultimate Blues Traveler live and acoustic experience.”

Notably, Live and Acoustic Fall of 1997 will include classics such as “Run-Around,” “But Anyway,” “The Mountains Win Again,” and other deeper cuts on a limited edition colored vinyl.
