On Dec. 31, Miley Cyrus hosted her second annual New Year’s Eve special on NBC. The program, co-hosted by Dolly Parton, included many familiar faces, including Talk Heads frontman David Byrne, who joined Cyrus for a pair of tunes during the broadcast. Watch below.

During the two-hour telecast, Byrne arrived on the Miami stage for a collaborative delivery of his original, “Everybody’s Coming to My House,” which appeared on the 2018 album American Utopia. The duo also covered David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” with Byrne’s vocals perfectly capturing the authenticity of the 1983 title track.

Byrne and Cyrus’ performance included a backing band, complete with a brass section, supporting vocalists and more. The high-energy delivery garnered memorable musical moments as the night’s hostess inched closer to the midnight hour.
