Father John Misty has extended his current tour, which supports Chloë and the Next 20th Century, his latest album, which dropped on April 8, 2022. Following an extensive North American trek, Misty will travel to South America in November for a series of festival appearances and newly added tour stops.
After a solo show on Oct. 15 at Virginian Lodge Courtyard in Jackson, Wy., Misty and his band will take a well-deserved break from the road before resuming their evening routine on Nov. 6 with an appearance at the São Paulo, Brazil edition of Primavera Sound on Nov. 6. The artist will remain in the same city for his next gig, which lands on Nov. 8, only this time at the local live music venue Cine Joia.
Then, the band will jump to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to play at Sacadura on Nov. 10, followed by a festival appearance on Nov. 12 in the same city for their rendition of Primavera Sound. Misty final previously announced festival appearance for Primavera Sound lands on Nov. 13 and will occur in Santiago, Chile.
Next, Misty and company will make their way to Bogotá, Columbia, for a headlining performance at The Bonfire on Nov. 16, before a Nov. 17 shared bill with the Arctic Monkeys at Coliseo Live. The final stop of the artist’s South American jaunt lands on Nov. 20 and will happen in Mexico City, Mexico, at Corona Capital.
Tickets for Father John Misty’s newly announced South American shows go on sale Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. ET. For additional information and to purchase tickets, visit fatherjohnmisty.com.
