Last night, during Goose’s sold-out debut performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., the Connecticut jamband unveiled plans for their annual holiday event, Goosemas, slated to take place on Dec. 17 at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo.

Before the start of last night’s show, members of the Goose community arrived at the venue to partake in the fan art exhibit known as the Hometown Flodown ahead of the main event. At which time, rumors began swirling about the band’s holiday plans as Christmas elves disbursed across the dreamy venue grounds, distributing postcard invitations with a “save the date” for the annual holiday show.

Following pre-show whispers of what was the come, Goose made the formal announcement at the end of the night’s first set, when a surprise video engulfed the venue’s screens displaying a pre-taped video of the troupe, equipped in holiday attire, announcing their forthcoming Christmas plans.

This year’s iteration of the spirited holiday event will see Goose perform outside their home state for the first time. The ninth edition of Goosemas will occur on Dec. 17, at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo.
