The Black Pumas have announced a pause on all remaining 2022 tour dates. The band broke the news on their official social media accounts, where the Austin, Texas ensemble shared their decision without giving extensive detail on the monotony of the situation.  

The group’s official statement read: “After four incredible years of career milestones and unforgettable live experiences around the world, we have made the difficult decision to press pause and step away from touring for the rest of the year.”

Then, Black Pumas extended gratitude to their fans and followers to conclude their statement: “We have the best fans in the world and appreciate each and every one of you for your support and understanding. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to know you better.”

Black Pumas is comprised of vocalist Eric Burton and guitarist Adrian Quesada, who formed the group in 2017. Since teaming up, the psychedelic-soul duo has garnered six-Grammy nominations for various works over their four-year run as a group.
