Charleston, S.C.-based electro-funk collective Doom Flamingo have returned with their latest single “Lux Noir.” The track, heavy with punching drums and bold synths, was released along with a music video directed by Paul Chelmis.

“Lux Noir” was engineered by Matt Zutell at Coast Records and sees Doom Flamingo–comprised of Kanika Moore, Ryan Stasik, Sean Bing, Thomas Kenney, Mike Quinn and Ross Bogan–doing what they do best: Pumping out highly stylish, grooves designed to inspire interpretive and passionate movements on the dancefloor.

The song’s video transports viewers to an alluring neon-soaked, hazy nightclub called the Lux Noir where time knows is free-flowing and the music never stops.

“Lux Noir is the exclusive club in your mind…” said Moore, whose vocals take center stage on the track, “…from exquisite fetishes to love and dance solidarity, once again channeling Girl Power energy.”

The release of “Lux Noir” comes ahead of a jam-packed summer for Doom Flamingo: Early summer will see them bring their signature blend of disco and funk to Summer Camp in Chillicothe, Ill., and Arise Music Festival in Boone, Colo. Following their milestone return to The Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pa., Doom Flamingo will stop at The Werk Out in Thornville, Ohio, with a handful of club appearances in between.
