The Who have announced an exciting lineup of special guests joining them on their upcoming The Who Hits Back! Tour. On the road, the legendary ensemble led by original members Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey will be joined by an all-star group of talented musicians at select stops of the extended run of shows.

The band’s upcoming tour has been broken into two seasonal runs, including a set of spring and fall dates. The Who Hits Back! Tour will begin on April 22 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla. The performance will include a special guest, Leslie Mendelson, who will remain on tour with the band for the next two Sunshine State stops.

From there, The Who will welcome Amythyst Kiah for one night at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on May 3, before Los Lonely Boys unite with the band in the Lonestar State on May 5 and 8. Kiah will rejoin the British rock royals again on May 18, when they perform in Boston. She will stick around for the next two East Coast gigs, which will bring the band to Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

The Who’s final stops of the spring leg of the tour will bring them to New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 26 – where The Wild Things will join them. Two nights later, on May 28, Willie Nile will connect with the band at the legendary Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y.

During the fall leg of the band’s tour, they’ll be joined by Steven Page at their first five gigs, starting on Oct. 2 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. After that, Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs will join The Who for an extended run of shows, beginning on Oct. 14 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo., and stretching till Nov. 1, when the band performs at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The tour’s final stops will see The Who once more welcome the British female-led rock unit, The Wild Things, at their two-night stand at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Nov. 4 and 5.
