Blue Note Jazz Festival has announced a Miami Beach Pop Up at North Beach Bandshell in Miami, Fla., the events will take place over two weeks beginning on June 3.

The festival will feature a performance by George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic on Friday, June 3. On Saturday, June 4, Grammy Award-winning vocalist Buika will play before the two-week event conclude on June 11 with Robert Glasper and special guests, who will also perform the day prior.

“We’re very pleased to bring Blue Note Jazz Festival to Miami Beach featuring a star-studded array of iconic and important artists,” said Alex Kurland, Blue Note’s Director of Programming. He continued, “Our featured Blue Note programming spotlights influential titans of the music industry including George Clinton, Robert Glasper and Buika. With the challenges we’ve all gone through over the past year, we’re grateful to be able to present great music in a truly great community. Cheers to these extraordinary artists, and once more being able to present concerts by Blue Note in the greater Miami marketplace with our friends at the Rhythm Foundation at the famed North Beach Bandshell!”
