Blue Note New York has announced the 11th Annual Sony Presents Blue Note Jazz Festival, beginning June 1 with a free concert in Washington Square Park by Robert Glasper. 

The festival will take place at major venues throughout New York City, including Blue Note New York, The Town Hall, Sony Hall, and SummerStage in Central Park, and will see performances by some of the jazz scenes’ best acts. 

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Chris Botti, Charles Lloyd, Macy Gray, Kenny G, Al Di Meola, Madeleine Peyroux, Dave Holland & Kenny Barron, Robert Cray, Jenny Garrett, José James, Chief Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott) and many more will perform.
