In honor and celebration of Phil Lesh’s 82^nd birthday, The Capitol Theatre has announced the dates for the Grateful Dead bassist’s October residency.

The event which has been billed lovingly as Phil-O-Ween will see Lesh and his “Friends” play over 9-nights throughout the month. The shows will start on Oct. 14-16, then on Oct. 21-23 and finally on Halloween weekend on Oct. 28, 29 and 31.

Phil-O-Ween in 2021 saw the treasured artist perform with artists including Dawes’ members Taylor Goldsmith and Trever Menear, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, Lesh’s son Grahame Lesh and many more. According to a press release, the “Friends” for 2022’s residency will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for Phil Lesh & Friends at The Capitol Theatre go on sale Friday, March 25 at 12 p.m. EST, on The Capitol Theatre’s website.
